As usual, here is 3 facts about “She’s Out of my League” film as quoted from IMDB :

  • Molly’s parents are played by Alice Eve’s real-life parents, Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan.
  • Jay Baruchel and Lindsay Sloane, who plays his ex-girlfriend in this movie, were previously in the short-lived series “The Stones” (2004) together, playing brother and sister.
  • When meeting Molly, Dylan asks her (trying to understand why she’s dating Kirk), “Did you hit his car?” In Crossing Over (2009), the character played by Alice Eve, an illegal immigrant, is forced into a sexual relationship with an immigration officer, played by Ray Liotta, after hitting his car.

(Score 1-10)

Kirk (played by Jay Baruchel) (Score : 5) is just an ordinary guy. Not-shaped body, working on the airport, not continue studying to college, 5 times failed date, and stuck to a girl (Marnie played by Lindsay Sloane) that he didn’t even truly love because that girl is the only girl that love him.

Meanwhile…

Molly (played by Alice Eve) (Score : 10) is totally a beautiful woman, work as a lawyer, living in an apartement, single, young, good looking, great physique, everything that who dream of Kirk as the ideal woman is on her. But, Kirk self conscious and choose to not much hope on her.

Kirk works at the Pittsburgh International Airport as a Transportation Security Administration officer, and hopes of becoming a pilot one day. One day he meet Molly who about to go somewhere. Kirk, too shy to ever try flirting with a woman like Molly, is the only employee to treat her courteously. She and Kirk exchange a few innocuous words, and she then proceeds to her flight, accidentally leaving her phone in the airport security area. Upon realizing she has misplaced it, Molly calls her phone and Kirk, back at the security checkpoint, answers. The two arrange for a time to meet the following evening so that he may return the phone to her.

Make a long story short, they both dating! But, Kirk feel something wrong here. “She is totally gorgeous! Why she ask ME to go out with her?”

Then, Kirk try to find out. He play along. Go to her sisters party, get some coffe together, dinner, traveling, etc. Until one day, Her former boyfriend Cam tells him that Molly has a defect that will be exposed when they have sex. This turns out to be webbed toes, which Kirk considers so minor that he decides that she is too perfect for him, and he breaks off the relationship with Molly. And he continue the relationship with Marnie.

In the end, Kirk’s friends and Patty realize their mistake in telling Kirk and Molly it wouldn’t work out. They pull Kirk off his plane as he tries to leave with his family and Marnie, while Patty brings Molly to the airport. Later, as a surprise, he takes Molly on a trip in a small plane, with himself being the pilot; he has taken flying lessons. [IMDB/Wiki]

My Opinion after watch this movie : Molly, “the dream girl” of Kirk apparently not as I expected. But, I like when she smile icon smile Shes out of My League, 10 go for a 5? . Kirk’s friend pretty much make this film worse than good. Because throughout the film I believe that you gonna wait for Molly and friends to come out, especially when she dating with Kirk. Hiccup on a date!!! and he good enough for her.
