Here is some facts as quoted from IMDB for Kick-Ass (2010) :

• Nicolas Cage (Damon Macready) and Lyndsy Fonseca (Katie Deauxma) both share the same birthday (7th January).
• Both Daniel Craig and Mark Wahlberg were considered for the role of Big Daddy before Nicolas Cage was cast.
• After Kick-Ass first meets Hit-Girl, we see Big Daddy standing in front of a billboard featuring Claudia Schiffer, wife of director Matthew Vaughn.
• Christopher Mintz-Plasse a.k.a “Red Mist” originally auditioned for the role of Kick-Ass.
• Christopher Mintz-Plasse  had to learn how to drive a stick shift for his “Mist Mobile” in the film. After the movie was finished he later said that he completely forgot how to.
• After being rejected by every studio they approached, Matthew Vaughn raised the budget at a dinner party and made the movie independently. Vaughn ultimately sold the movie to Universal for more than he had originally asked them for.

In the very beginning of the movie, you will reminded that how foolish and crazy you are if you trying to be a superhero. Armenian, the guy with history mental health problem, jump off from the top of the building, (wish for fly maybe) and died for fell over the taxi.

Dave Lizewski (by Aaron Johnson) just an ordinary teenager, nothing wrong with him and nothing special either, he wasn’t in the sport, he wasn’t good in Math or hardcore game, 300 friends in My Space. His only super power is being invisible with gilrs. (that exactly what he say).

He is the only one who ask to his friend, “How come nobody ever try to be a superhero?”. And he begin to buy superhero hero stuff when he was ambushed by the thugs and people just look at it, nobody helps. So, he buy some superhero custom and a sort of truncheon fo the weapon. He is just superhero with no superhero power. As he said, “you don’t power to be a superhero, just perfect combination of optimistic and naif”.

His first premiere action as superhero is when the same thugs try to stole a car and he is about to stop them. As a normal thug, when you saw somebody use a superhero costum or even try to be a hero, they laugh and say, “What the f**k you looking at?”. And then, here comes the courage, Lizewski using superhero custom fight against this two thugs.

The first action does not seem as he expected. Stabbed stomach, got hit by a car and hospital. He became famous and known by people in his second action when he trying to rescue someone from beating, Some kid recorded it and uploaded in Youtube. “I’m Kick-Ass!!!”

His superhero skill seems like will be put into the test, when he deal with the ‘real’ drugs dealer. Real enemy and of course, real gun and real killer.

But, the good news is Kick is not the only ‘superhero’. There are :

1. RED MIST (RM), real name : Chris D’Amico (played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse), fake superhero, he is the drug dealer’s son, Frank D’Amico (by Mark Strong). RED MIST created by Frank D’Amico himself, to gain trust from Kick-Ass an then trap him so he will not be able to distrub his drug bussines. At the of the movie, his father will be killed by Kick-Ass using Bazzoka (Just like in Spiderman).

2. BIG DADDY (BD), real name : Damon Macready (played by Nicolas Cage). He is ex-policeman, trapped by Frank D’Amico (again) so he won’t distrub his drug bussines. He become tottaly strees and crazy during in prison, especially when he thinking about his pregnant wife. And when he comes out from jail, he demanded revenge to Frank D’Amico. He is real superhero, real gun, real act. He even train his own daughter to become HIT-GIRL.

3. HIT GIRL (HG), real name : Mindy Macready (Played by Chloe Moretz). She is Damon Macready’s daughter, trained to become superhero to assist her father while take his revenge to Frank D’Amico, same person that threaten Kick-Ass.

My Opinio After watch this movie : Just like in “Sherlock Holmes” (2009) as Lord Blackwood, Mark Strong really extraordinary in this film. Ohh, He is real Drugs Dealer. Meanwhile, Lyndsy Fonseca (as Katie Deauxma) and Chloe Moretz (Mindy Macready a.k.a Hit-Girl) and Sophie Wu (as Erika Cho, Katie Deauxma’s friend) looks pretty cute and of course played good. And for Aaron johnson (as Dave Lizewski / Kick-Ass), he doesn’t play as good as I expected. And Nicolas Cage, I prefer him at “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” (2010). Matthew Vaughn become director and producer in this film and also for “Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall” (2012). My favorite part in this movie is After Kick-Ass and hit Girl fight againts another drugs delaer and Kick-Ass is about to go through the front door and Hit Girl said, “Hey, Hey As**ole, Can’t use the front door now”.
