Be Careful from what you want, cause you always “Get what you want“

Up in the Air starring the “Danny Ocean”, George Clooney that cast as Ryan Bingham. Ryan Bingham (Clooney) is a man who makes his living traveling to workplaces around the United States and conducting layoffs for bosses too cowardly to do it themselves. Bingham also become motivational speeches, using the analogy “What’s In Your Backpack?”

So, because of him travel almost daily using flight service American Airlines(TM), he almost had no time for love, even for his own family. The Best part? he is good in what his doing. he 100% concentration when he do the job. The good side from his job is he traveling to around USA everyday, The bad side? he had to layoffs employees and dealing with their reaction, such a suicide, say him names, etc.

One day, Bingham’s boss decided to send Natalie Keener (played by Anna Kenderick) to accompany him while he doing his job, “fired people”. Interestingly, Natalie finds out, that Ryan Bingham is a hard man to do commitment (married), he doesn’t even want to have kid! From the movie, clearly explain that, because he truly love his job and enjoying it.

Yes, he might be able to say that, “I don’t want to married and have kid”, but, once he meet Alex Goran (played by Vera Farmiga) on a bar, he like her (not love). In the beginning, they both just friend until they make out and have sex. Other than that, Alex Goran seems like a nice woman to accompany Bingham to talk to. And they both fit!

Make a long story short, Binghams “like” her and decide to make this relationship official (his heart may melt down). But, when he catch up Goran on Chicago and try to talk about that with her, he surprised and see that Goran already have family (husband and child). Ohh, this is the most  difficult time in Bingham’s life. And on phone, Alex says, “I think you know the status of our relationship for all this time”. Turns out, after all this, She was think that Bingham as an escape!

My Opinion after watch this movie : I don’t get it about the ending of this movie, Ryan Bingham looking at the flight board schedule and narrative (while the screen change into the plane point-of-view in the sky), “The stars will wheel forth from their daytime hiding places and one of those lights, slightly brighter than the rest, will be my wingtip passing over”. Anna Kenderick is totally act awesome in this movie, no wonder she become the winner on nominate “Best Breakout Stars” on MTV MOVIE AWARDS 2010.
