If you remember, previously Ryan Reynold was cast in X-Men Origins: Wolverine as Wade Wilson. With ability to master the swords, cut a single bullet to an half. Yeah, he is a hero to me , except he was working with the wrong guy, Col. William Stryker to find the source of some meteor thing.

As you can see in the trailer, Green Lantern tells of a test pilot named Hal Jordan who received a ring from a super-powered alien named Abin-Sur (Yes, the guy with purple head! ) after a plane crash and stranded on Earth. Shortly before his death, Abin Sur gave a green ring that can turn him into Green Lantern, a superhero who has the mission to maintain peace and justice of the universe from the threat of Parallax who intend to destroy the Earth. Jordan is the only one selected from the human race from the Green Lantern Corp. to keep the universe.

In my opinion after watch the trailer, I don’t know what so special about this hero. This is an old Hero stroy:somebody find the ‘thing’ and suddenly become a person that have a great power to keep the universe-. Not like Iron Man that ‘build’ a hero. Maybe after watch full movie later on June 2011.
