Power Gen Garza (David Zayas) in a country in South America is very strong. With the military power he had, Garza oppress its citizens once opposed the policies of other countries around him. After the death of an American citizen held hostage in the hands of Garza, the American government had no choice but to create a scenario for the overthrow of power Garza.

Lowered directly into the land forces was clearly not possible and the only way is to reduce the unofficial forces to stage a coup and liberate people from oppression in that country which has been running for over twenty years that. The problem is, these forces must be really tough because they will not get any help from any party.

Expectations are now dependent on Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), the team leader of The Expendables. Together with Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Tool (Mickey Rourke), Bao Thao (Jet Li), Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) and Toll Road (Randy Couture), Barney must successfully kill Garza and topple the regime ruling.

Unfortunately, this mission is not an easy. Besides will not get any help from the U.S. military, there is a CIA agent named Monroe (Eric Roberts) who apparently did not want the collapse of power Garza.
