The story is similar to Hot Fuzz (2007), which reversed the peace of a city there is a horrible story behind it. Ogden Marsh is a town located in the United states is described with peace, happiness, and obedient to the law which is owned by all residents.

But the situation quickly changed instantly when one day housing residents came suddenly into the middle of the field during a baseball game with weapons and ready to kill Sheriff Dutten. Elsewhere there is also a terrible incident, how could a father with his wife and child locked in a closet and then set fire to his house.

The incident was assessed by the sheriff filled with suspicion and awkwardness because people suddenly turn into a sadistic killer. The city was turned into a city full of tension because it is filled with the blood-thirsty man. All types of weapons they use to kill each other. The situation became very tense, blood and corpses everywhere. Ogden Marsh became a ghost town.

But for David Dutten (Timothy Oliphant), as a sheriff he feels has the responsibility for his city. Together with his men Russell Clank (Joe Anderson), Becca Darling (Danielle Panabaker), and his wife Judy Dutten (Radha Mitchell) trying to get out of town and looking for answers to that happening with the city.
