The director, Christopher Nolan revealed that the title of The Dark Knight Rises is to be used for the third Batman movie.

The Dark Knight Rises (fixed) will be starring Christian Bale, Sir Michael Caine, Tom Hardy, and will be released in 2012. Rises To The Dark Knight will not be produced in 3D. Instead they will make it with High Definition cameras that are designed for the IMAX format.

Nolan also revealed in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the chance that it will override the Riddler as a villain character. “We will use many of the same character as what we have done so far, and also introduces some new characters,” he said as reported DigitalSpy and 21cineplex.

In other news, Chris Nolan reportedly now is in the process of casting to the 20-30 year-old actress for role as Selina Kyle, the Cat Woman in The Dark Knight Rises. [pic:imdb]
