The director, Peter Jackson who is now working on The Hobbit has finally released the official title and release date. The Hobbit is adapted from the novel by John Ronald Reuel Tolkien. The Hobbit will be split into two parts.

The first movie is now filming in New Zealand will have the title The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey to the scheduled release of December 14, 2012. As for the sequels, The Hobbit: There and Back Again soon followed on December 13, 2013.

The second film will be a prequel to the story of the trilogy The Lord of the Rings are also produced by Peter Jackson. The Hobbit is about the adventures of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) seize the kingdom from the hands of a Dwarf Dragon Smaug.
