After Marvel’s superhero remake, Spider-Man and Fantastic Four, it’s now Daredevil’s turn.

David Slade who also directed the Twilight: Eclipse (2010), Hard Candy (2005) and that will be released ‘The Last Voyage of Demeter’ (2011). David Slade is rumored to have signed a contract to work on the superhero movie reboot version, Daredevil for 20th Century Fox.

February 2010, Fox announced it would remake the 2003 movie Daredevil, starring Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. At that time, Fox also appointed David Scarpa (remake The Day the Earth Stood Still) to work on his new screenplay. Previously rumored new movie Daredevil was not going to take the matter in the Daredevil (2003). This means a new version of this Daredevil story will take the original story. Katee Sackhoff reportedly will portray the character of Typhoid Mary, a ex-lover of Matt Murdock / Daredevil that would later become the enemy. Kate Sackhoff reportedly bought all the special Daredevil comics featuring his character.
