You’ve been watch “Evan Almighty”, didn’t you? Well, FYI it’s not the Bruce Almighty Sequel, it’s a spin-off that focused on Evan Baxter (friend of Bruce) so they said. This is what makes Universal needs to continue the story of Bruce.

Variety quoted in the news, Universal is rumored to have pointed Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel to write a sequel to Bruce Almighty 2. Both had previously written comedy “Hot Tub Time Machine” and “Yes Men”. The man behind the successful Bruce Almighty, Tom Shadyac likely reappointed a director on its sequel.

Jim Carrey will certainly come back to play Bruce Nolan, a man less fortunate who protested to God and make God gave him strength for a week in order to seek better jobs (To feel how it’s like to be God for me though). Meanwhile, Morgan Freeman and Jennifer Aniston will most likely be back to play as God and lover of Bruce. The success of the 2003 film Bruce Almighty ago who collected $ 500 million more to make Universal proceeded to spin off of the character through Evan Almighty Evan Baxter in 2007. Unfortunately, since the left Jim Carrey, the film starring Steve Carrel failed in the market and got a poor response.

No official title for now. Wether it will be just “Bruce Almighty 2″ or “Bruce Almight: bla bla bla”. We’ll see.
