Although “The Amazing Spider-Man” itself still a year away from its release date, Sony Pictures have already set release date for The Amazing Spider-Man sequel.
As Sony executive told Deadline via Aceshowbiz,
“I think it speaks volumes about our confidence in what we are seeing on the new film and our desire to move quickly on the next installment,”
May 2, 2014 to be exact. 
While “The Amazing Spider-Man” will be premiere on July 03, 2012. Starring Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker (Spider Man), also features Emma Stone as his love interest Gwen, and Rhys Ifans as his foe Dr. Curt Conners (The Lizard).
