As reported by Aceshowbiz, latest news said that Tom Hardy will play a villain named Dr. Hugo Strange. The news was first reported to Batman-News via Collider. Sources also said that Rachel Wisz and Anne Hathaway will get the role.

Dr. Hugo Strange was the first Batman villain. He is a mad scientist and genius who has a high IQ and is a master of psychology. Strange sebenenarnya already know the true identity of Batman, but he was just keeping the secret itself. He also terobesesi with Batman, and even began to dress up like the hero Gotham city.

The Dark Knight Rises scheduled to begin filming in April 2011 for released July 2012 in the US. Christopher Nolan will become the director with Christian Bale that (still) cast as Bruce Wayne a.k.a Batman.
