Angelina Jolie and Her ‘Untitled’ Bosnian War Movie

In the film that tells of the Bosnian war (1992-1995), this is the first time Angelina Jolie to be a director. But apparently, this directorial debut was not running smoothly, she got a protest from the organization Women Victims of War. Yet Jolie seems to respond with ease. Please note that this film has received official permission from the Bosnian government.
Jolie insisted from the beginning to coincide with the premiere of his latest film The Tourist not a long ago, that she never intended to provoke controversy by making a movie about the Bosnian war (12/02). Jolie also said the film would not carry any political message and added that the casting will be drawn from different ethnic groups in the former Yugoslavia.
“The film is a love story set in during the 1992-1995 Bosnian war, which focuses on couples who met on the eve of the war and the impact of war on their relationship,” said Jolie.
Organizational leadership victims of sexual crimes during the war or the Victims of Sexual Violence sent a letter of protest to Jolie through the UN agency, UNHCR.
